Maytag Laundry Range Arrival Delayed Until November
We're excited to share that our new Maytag laundry range is on its way! However, they will arrive 2-3 weeks later than planned, with a new ETA of November.
As you may be aware, there were significant strikes last week at all major ports along the East Coast of the United States. This unprecedented event marked the first strike of its kind in 50 years. Although initial reports suggested it could last for weeks, we are pleased that operations resumed within just three days.
Unfortunately, the temporary port closures have caused shipping delays, and our Maytag products were affected. As a result, we now anticipate a delay of 2-3 weeks, with goods expected to arrive at our warehouse in November. Rest assured we are working closely with our shipping partners to minimise delays and will keep you informed of any updates.
We apologise for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding. We're excited to receive these products and deliver them to your customers as soon as possible - they will be well worth the wait!
NEW Maytag's Set to Replace Whirlpool Atlantis Range (Announced on 27/08/24)
As you may know, we recently announced that Whirlpool has discontinued the Atlantis toploader range of washers and dryers in the UK and Europe, effective immediately. This includes the Classic and 6th Sense Atlantis models. While Blue Badger secured the remaining stock of the Classic and 6th Sense dryers, the toploader washers are no longer available.
Blue Badger continues to be the exclusive Whirlpool Professional partner in the UK and there will be no effect to the other product ranges we sell (front loading laundry equipment, dishwashers, and microwaves) with discussions ongoing around new products in the future.
In light of this change, we acted swiftly to minimise any inconvenience to our dealers and secured an exclusive partnership with Maytag Commercial. This new range will offer upgraded commercial laundry products that we believe will perform exceptionally well in the UK market.
