2009-2014: The Early Days
Back in 2009, Sterling Pro was born in a small office in Andover, Hampshire. Mark and Steve, the company founders, chose the name 'Sterling Pro' to embody their commitment to high-quality refrigeration solutions.
They quickly made a name for themselves, focusing on making top-quality fridges and freezers for bustling catering and hospitality scenes across the UK. Their first product lines included everything from gastronorm fridge and freezer cabinets to pizza prep counters, bottle coolers, and display chillers, laying the groundwork for their success.
2015-2019: Going Green
In this next phase, Sterling Pro continued to bolster their product selection, leading to the introduction of their Green range, showcasing revitalised offerings with a stronger focus on energy efficiency.
With the introduction of new hydrocarbon refrigerants such as R290a and R600a, energy usage was slashed by 65%, cutting down on heat and noise pollution. Plus, with the introduction of sleek ventilation grills, Sterling Pro made sure their products looked as good as they worked.
2020-2024: Pushing Boundaries
Undeterred by the challenges of the pandemic, Sterling Pro kept pushing forward. In 2020, they rolled out the Vantage range, setting new standards in premium refrigeration.
With Climate Class 5 certification and unbeatable energy efficiency, the Vantage range showcased Sterling Pro's dedication to excellence. In 2021, they expanded their offerings further by introducing the Cobus range, catering to price-conscious customers without compromising on quality.
