Blue Badger Wholesale are still open.

At Blue Badger our primary concern is the health and safety of our customers and staff.  Since the government’s announcement on the 23rd March we have reviewed our policies and taken further steps to ensure we can continue to operate in a safe and socially responsible way.

Blue Badger’s customers are not just focused on hospitality. Our supply chain serves key services such as the NHS, Care Homes, Education and HM Prisons. We are doing our upmost to ensure we continue to operate and support these critical services during these trying times.

Office

Most of our employees are now working remotely. Due to the investment we made in remote systems earlier in the year, we are confident that you’ll receive the same level of service when calling and emailing us.

We still have a skeleton staff in the office ensuring that spare parts are fulfilled and that key services continue to function.

In addition to this our website www.bluebadger.co.uk allows customers easy access to product information and the login allows you access to your own pricing, as well as being able to place orders. Please sign up for an account if you do not have login details.

Warehousing/Delivery

As a wholesaler our stock is supplied from a large number of suppliers via different routes, including our own substantial UK stock holding. We have two separate warehouses in the UK which run on separate transport networks giving us further options should one network fail. Some of our lines are imported on request and we will advise on a case by case basis on those.

Delivery Key Points

We will be asking at booking in and on pre-delivery calls if anyone at the delivery point is self-isolating because of potential exposure.  In this instance, we will only deliver to the front door.

We are proceeding with unpack and positions only where we can exercise social distancing by keeping 2 metres away.  Wherever possible a ‘contact free’ delivery is our preference. 

We’re experiencing very high demand at the moment, whilst we are doing our best to fulfil timed/next day deliveries they cannot be guaranteed at this time.

Service/Spares

Blue Badger have an extensive network of engineers with most postcodes having several options in order to effectively manage demand at peak times. As a result we do not envisage being in a position where we will be unable to attend service call outs.

As with deliveries, any engineers attending will attempt to limit time spent in contact with others. Before attempting to book a service call in a high risk area (such as Care Home/Hospital) please make sure you check any special access requirements.
